Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (BTAM) Team Training

We offer this foundational course to provide BTAM teams and participants with the knowledge, concepts, and structure to identify, assess, and manage threatening and concerning behavior.  The expert-led program is Evidence Informed/Experience Applied.  In other words, we combine both established research with practical experience to give participants the confidence they need to help prevent acts of targeted violence. 

 

Core Content:

• Review the dynamics of Workplace Violence

• Explore Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Concepts and team roles

• Understanding the foundations of violence, including the pathway to violence and other pre-incident indicators.

• Current practices in assessment, intervention, and case management strategies

• Review basic workplace security and investigative strategies 

• Review strategies for dealing with immediate threats or acts of violence

• Multiple case studies
